Sebastiaan Oosthout, (1966), Netherlands, Nijmegen. Started piano lessons at 7. Parents both pianists, José Oosthout-Kwakkernaat and Hans Oosthout. At 16 first public concert, Beethoven, Bach-Busoni en Chopin. Went to Paris , (Pierre Sancan), master classes (Gary Graffman)
At 18 played Mozart’s Pianoconcert no. 20 radio broadcasted. At 19 several Mozart piano concertos with Dutch symphonic orchestra HGO. At 20 Italy tour and debut on television. In 1989 Sebastiaan was introduced by Jean-Yves Thibaudet at the Young Concert Artists in New York. US tour and first CD (Bach, Chopin and Liszt) recorded at the Vereeniging concert hall Nijmegen.

At 25 he went to Boston and graduated at the New England Conservatory, teacher Patricia Zander. Sebastiaan met his wife Kimberly Harrison and did a concert at Carnegie Hall (New York). They moved to the Netherlands. He started as a teacher at Artez conservatory Zwolle and Arnhem (2002-2009). In 2003 Sebastiaan was invited to play at the worldtour premiere Intro Dance company, (Italian concert), choreographed by Renate Zanello (Vienna National ).
In 2003 Russian tour with pianist Kimberly Harrison, tour end concert: Hermitage St. Petersburg. In 2005 and 2013 played as duo several national and international performances with dance company Introdans (“Green Table”, choreographed by Kurt Joos). In 2006 second CD (Chopin piano sonate no. 2 and no.3 e.a.)
In 2013 third CD with Kimberly Harrison; 19e and 20e century Four hand pieces by Ravel, Debussy, Satie, Kurtag, Barber and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
